Hey, we’ve added a great DVD from Bill Myers to the site, it’s called tools for how to video production. Bill goes through a lot of the tools you need to produce your own how to DVD including the cameras, microphone, and software that you need to produce excellent DVD for your how to market. One of the premiere tools for internet product developers and …yes…even podcasters is Techsmith’s Camtasia Studio.

As many of you know, Camtasia allows you to quickly create a screen capture video and save for distribution. The video can be in a variety of formats including Flash.

I know many people don’t want to spend $299.00 for the current version of Camtasia Studio. However, Techsmith is now providing a link for a free download of Camtasia Studio 3.1.

Techsmith’s thinking is …If you like Camtasia Studio 3.1, you may be willing to pay the upgrade fee for the current Camtasia Studio 5.0…not a bad deal. I believe you can upgrade from the 3.1 version, so it’s an even better deal for you.

One of my favorite sites, Bill Myers Online, let me know about this deal. Bill is a big user of Camtasia and has many online demos using Camtasia.
